Government 12 – Political Action Committees

Students select one Political Action Committee and research its history, purpose and activities.  Students will create a poster representing their PAC and then teach the class about it.

English 9 – To Kill a Mockingbird

As a launch activity for To Kill a Mockingbird, students will research to find answers for an Internet scavenger hunt.

Science 7 – Planets

Students will research a planet and prepare a PowerPoint presentation to include photographs and details about the planet:  physical description, location in the universe, atmosphere.

Model Organization of American States

Class will be divided into pairs.  Each group will research one aspect of the United States and Haiti (political, economic, geographic, historical, and social) and present their findings to the class as a whole at the end of the week.  Presentations must include posters or bulletin boards and lecture handouts or visual aids (maps, charts, pictures, and timelines).  Use of PowerPoint is encouraged.

Psychology – Annotated Bibliography

 Over the course of the semester, students will create an annotated bibliography of journal articles.    A new topic is announced each week based on course materials.
